•December 5, 2009 • Leave a CommentIt takes great grapes to make great wine (these didn’t make the cut), I learned that and a lot more while visiting Esterlina Vineyards in Philo, California. Esterlina is one of only a few black owned and operated vineyards in the country.
My family and I had a great time enjoying the scenery and learning about making, packaging and distributing wine. Very interesting process and very nice people, hey guys.

Alcatraz. Home to Al Capone, George “Machine Gun” Kelly and many other gangsters of the 30′s through the 50′s. Interesting history on this place. Click here if you want to learn more.
In Flight
•November 23, 2009 • Leave a CommentI caught this shot from a boat that was circling Alcatraz. I snapped it right before we went under the Golden Gate bridge. Thank god for fast shutter speeds.
Watching the ships roll in
•November 23, 2009 • Leave a CommentSan Francisco has some wonderful sights. As you can see, we weren’t the only ones enjoying watching the ships coming into the harbor.

While visiting Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco you can’t help but notice all the birds hanging around (their just as bold as NYC pigeons). The bird in this picture seemed to be waiting for me to take the shot.
